Sanctuary too - at Gould Galleries May 2013

Following the success of Sanctuary at Heide Musem of Modern Art in 2012, I was fortunate to be offered my first major solo exhibition in a commercial gallery, by Rob Gould at Gould Galleries in South Yarra. This involved the re-iteration of Sanctuary from an installation of wall-relief works to an exhibition of framed works, offered for sale.  The task of mounting the fragile wall-works for framing was challenging and a huge learning curve for me, but well worth the investment. Sanctuary too was a commercial success, with all but 3 of the small works selling out before the show opened and many visitors to the gallery returning a number of times.
